Hi, I'm Flavia Fiengo.
I was born in Torre del Greco (Na) on August 15, 1987. When I was only 14 years old, I fell in love with my mother's analog camera , a love that would become my job, but also my passion. In 2013, after graduation, I completed a first level Master's degree at Scuola romana di fotografia e Cinema. I've been the official photographer of the Gaeta Jazz Festival since 2017, a music festival showcasing jazz and electronic dance music (EDM). This led me to photograph and portray artists over the years such as Roy Hargrove, James Senese and even the contemporaries Nu Genea, Robert Glasper etc. From 2012 to 2018, I was the official photographer of Memorie Urbane, the biggest Italian street-art festival, which brings street art to the cities of southern Italy by collaborating and immortalizing internationally renowned artists like Borondo, Agostino Iacurci, Etam Cru, Andrea Ravo etc. My work earned me spots in articles and publications in magazines, books and street art magazines in Italy and around the world, passing from Repubblica to Corriere della Sera to Sky Arte. In 2015, I was selected with the “minimalismi” project to exhibit at the “Paratissima 15” exhibitions in Turin. In 2016, I exhibited at the Leica Store in Florence with an attached publication on “The Florentine”, a well-known Florentine magazine.
I currently live in Gaeta, a small coastal town between Naples and Rome and I work in my studio / gallery in historical center. I love to travel and my camera is never far as I make my way around Italy.
